The Spanish authority organizes a day on cybersecurity and data protection during the 20th STIC Days
The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) has announced the organization of a day dedicated to cybersecurity and data protection as part of the 20th STIC Days.
This session, which will take place on November 24, marks the agency's first participation with a dedicated space at this event. It will bring together AEPD officials and professionals in cybersecurity, digital law, and data protection to analyze responses to threats against personal information. The program includes two roundtables: the first on the new challenges of cybersecurity for data protection, and the second on the role of the data protection officer (DPO) in the face of a cyberattack. Four presentations will also address security measures, sanctions related to data breaches, the use of biometric data, and data spaces. Registrations are open until November 20.
