The Polish data protection authority (UODO) reminds data controllers of the possibility to notify personal data breaches through the S46 system.

This platform, which connects participants of the National Cybersecurity System (KSC), allows simultaneous reporting of a cybersecurity incident and a data breach. The use of this system aims to speed up the processing of notifications through better information flow between institutions. Under an agreement from November 2025 between the president of the UODO and the Minister of Digitization, entities under the KSC can use a separate breach notification form within the S46 platform, which is then forwarded to the authority. The platform, named the S46 Central Cybersecurity Platform, is intended for the reporting and management of incidents for important entities in specific sectors and facilitates, in accordance with Article 46 of the KSC law, risk assessment, cyber threat alerting, and monitoring activities.
