The Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) is organizing a series of meetings and workshops in the voivodeships of Opole and Lower Silesia, scheduled from September 2 to 4, 2026.

These events aim to inform residents, data protection officers (DPOs), data controllers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of local authorities and cultural institutions about data protection and the activities of the supervisory authority.

On September 2, 2026, in Kluczbork, a meeting is organized for data protection officers and residents. Topics addressed by UODO experts will include the practical conduct of an inspection, the procedure to follow in case of a data breach, and the importance of notifying breaches without delay.

The day of September 3 in Opole will be dedicated to several sessions. A meeting will focus on the role and position of the DPO for delegates and data controllers of local authorities. Individual consultations will be offered to residents. At the same time, a workshop for entrepreneurs will address the integration of GDPR principles into business processes, while another meeting will focus on the implementation of the new version of the National Cybersecurity System (KSC) law in compliance with the GDPR.

On September 4 in Wrocław, the president of the UODO will open an academic conference on access to public information. Consultations for residents and a meeting dedicated to data protection in cultural and artistic institutions, both public and private, will also be held at the city hall.
