The Polish authority organizes a consultation point in Katowice on October 16, 2026

The Polish data protection authority (UODO) has announced the holding of a permanence at its regional consultation point in Katowice.
On October 16, 2026, experts from the authority will be present at the Silesian Voivodeship Office in Katowice to offer free assistance to citizens. Residents of the voivodeship will be able to obtain information about their rights, data protection principles, and receive support regarding data breaches. This consultation point will also allow complaints to be filed directly with the President of the UODO and obtain clarifications on the GDPR.

This initiative is part of an approach aimed at facilitating direct contact between citizens and the authority, which does not have regional structures. The objective is to gather feedback on the population's needs regarding data protection. The Katowice consultation point, inaugurated on June 15, 2026, is the second of its kind after a first pilot project launched in Rzeszów in December of the previous year.
