The Polish authority and the Central IT Center discuss data protection and new technologies in public administration

The Polish Personal Data Protection Authority (UODO) exchanged with the Central IT Center (COI) on the challenges of data protection in the context of the digitization of public administration.

On August 31, 2026, a working meeting brought together representatives of the UODO, including its president, and the COI, including its deputy director and data protection officer. The discussions focused on the role and responsibilities of processors in the context of IT services, as well as the need to design and implement technological solutions that respect data protection principles and ensure an adequate level of security. This meeting made it possible to identify areas for future collaboration, with both institutions committing to continue their dialogue and organize further workshops on this subject.
