The Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) announces the launch of the National Security Month, an annual campaign aimed at promoting digital security.

This 16th Norwegian edition of the European Security Month, coordinated by the Norwegian Centre for Information Security (NorSIS) on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, focuses on the theme of "digital judgment." The goal is to provide leaders, employees, and individuals with practical tools to protect their digital assets. In this context, Norwegian authorities, including the National Security Authority (NSM), the police, the Directorate for Digitalisation (Digdir), and Datatilsynet, have launched the joint portal sikkert.no. This platform centralizes public advice and information to help individuals, businesses, and the public sector prevent and manage digital incidents. A special advisor from Datatilsynet emphasized that this initiative aims to make digital security advice accessible to all, thereby strengthening collective security through individual responsibility.
