The Estonian Data Protection Authority (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, AKI) announces the organization of an online seminar aimed at the education sector on the use of applications and artificial intelligence.
This online seminar, scheduled for September 17 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, follows a circular addressed to schools to raise awareness of the risks related to the use of applications and artificial intelligence. The authority will present the content of its circular and discuss the points of vigilance to observe when deploying these tools, especially those based on artificial intelligence, from the perspective of personal data protection. Mainly intended for school principals, teachers, education technologists, and other school staff as well as local government employees, the event will not be recorded.
