The Dutch authority opens its doors during the Rule of Law Tour on September 12, 2026
The Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), announces an open house day on September 12, 2026 to present its missions to the public.
This event, organized in The Hague as part of the "Rule of Law Week," will provide a better understanding of the AP's role as an independent supervisory authority. Conferences and workshops, notably led by the vice-president, will address topics such as the regulation on artificial intelligence and its importance for democratic values, data breaches, camera glasses, and facial recognition. Activities on personal data and AI will also be offered to children.
