The CNIL presents a webinar on the new regime for telephone prospecting and consent collection

The National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) and the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) organized a joint webinar to clarify the new regime applicable to commercial telephone prospecting.

The webinar, broadcast on September 24, 2026, details the new rules governing telephone solicitation, applicable since August 11, 2026. The reference texts include Article L.223-1 of the Consumer Code, Decree No. 2026-662 of July 23, 2026, as well as Article 4, point 11, Article 6, Article 7 and Article 21 of the GDPR.
