The CNIL raises awareness among 2,500 fifth-grade students in Oise about data protection in 2026

The National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) conducted an awareness campaign in 2026 with 2,500 fifth-grade students in the Oise department on digital issues and personal data protection.

This project, carried out in collaboration with Adico, the Oise Very High-Speed Mixed Syndicate, Canopé Hauts-de-France, the departmental directorate of national education services (DSDEN) of Oise, and Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr, aimed to develop students' digital culture. The one-hour sessions on digital identity, preceded by a quiz, were structured around a group investigation. Educational resources, including the booklet "Digital, no panic," were provided. Preparation sheets are also available to allow teachers to extend discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence, passwords, phishing, and creating a memo of good online practices.
