The CNDP and NIIAT commit to training 20,000 young people in privacy protection in Morocco

The Moroccan National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP) and the National Institute of Innovation and Advanced Technology (NIIAT) have signed a partnership agreement aimed at training young people in the principles of privacy protection.

This agreement, signed on October 21, 2026, formalizes NIIAT's adherence to the national DATA-TIKA program, led by the CNDP under Law No. 09.08. The objective is to promote a responsible digital culture that respects privacy. A pilot phase will be launched in the Casablanca-Settat region for six months, with the ambition to train at least 20,000 young people. This initiative will then be expanded nationwide. The institute has affirmed its commitment to the privacy by design approach, considering this protection as a pillar of trust for innovation. The partnership also aims to raise awareness among learners, educators, and NIIAT partners.
