The British authority joins the national ambassador program to strengthen cyber resilience
The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has announced its membership in the National Ambassadors Program of the National Cyber Resilience Group (NCRCG) to strengthen cyber resilience in the United Kingdom.
This partnership aims to raise awareness among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) about cyber risks and connect them with free or affordable support services. The ICO will collaborate with other national ambassadors and the police-led Cyber Resilience Centres network to promote proactive measures for the protection of personal data. This approach aligns with the regulatory priorities of the authority, which notes that many security incidents result from non-compliance with fundamental measures. The ICO will highlight cyber resilience during its Data Protection Practitioners Conference (DPPC) on October 13, 2026.
