The CNIL publishes its directory of public information and commits to opening public data

The National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) has put online a directory of its public information and has committed to a process of opening its data.

This directory lists communicable documents containing public information, while specifying that preparatory or unfinished documents are not published and that information may be anonymized to limit the risks of re-identification. It includes activity reports of the authority and the qualified person, thematic guides, as well as sectoral compliance packs for areas such as smart meters (2014), connected vehicles (2017), and the silver economy (2017). Various publications, public contracts, deliberations adopted by its College, and its own register of processing activities, maintained in application of article 30 of the GDPR, are also accessible.
