The CNIL Board Welcomes Five New Members Starting August 2, 2026

The National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL) has partially renewed its Board with the appointment of five new members as of August 2, 2026.
The new commissioners are Marie-Luce Cavrois, honorary advisor at the Court of Cassation, Marion Fourtune, vice-president of France Nature Environnement (FNE) and member of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), Arnaud Latil, private law teacher-researcher and expert at the European Commission's AI Office, Benjamin Nguyen, computer science teacher-researcher specialized in data protection, and Éric Thiers, State Councillor. They succeed Sophie Lambremon, Aminata Niakaté, Anne Debet, Claude Castelluccia and Bertrand du Marais, whose terms have expired.
