The Polish data protection authority (UODO) participated in the inauguration of the Program Committee for the Year of Awareness and Information Security, an initiative of the Polish Senate.
On July 23, 2026, the Senate launched this initiative for the year 2027, aiming to develop the digital skills of society and strengthen resilience against disinformation. The vice-president of the UODO highlighted the convergence of this project with the educational actions carried out by the authority, such as the national program "Your Data, Your Business" existing for 17 years. The authority affirmed its availability for active participation and proposed to organize the closing ceremony of its program at the Senate. It also invited Senate representatives to the future Congress on personal data protection to strengthen institutional cooperation.
