Meeting between the Polish authority and the electronic communications authority to strengthen their cooperation
The Polish Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO) announced a meeting with the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) aimed at strengthening their cooperation.
On July 21, 2026, the two institutions exchanged their experiences and discussed their organizational structures and respective competences in order to identify common areas of action. The discussions focused on improving the handling of complaints, particularly those concerning digital services and the processing of personal data. Special attention was given to the development of a cooperation framework for complaints related to violations of the Digital Services Act (DSA), in anticipation of the future role of the UKE president as Digital Services Coordinator. Both authorities expressed their willingness to continue this collaboration to better address the challenges of the digital sector and protect personal data.
